Yari Jacket / WS Oze Jacket / Yari Pant
The Yari Jacket & Pants (WS Oze Jacket for Women) are Teton Bros.' classic spring/summer shell jacket and pants that emphasize practicality in the mountains and the ease of use that comes with a full-zip design.
In terms of specifications, the Yari Jacket/WS Oze Jacket has a hood structure that is compatible with alpine helmets, and a stopper on the front allows for vertical and horizontal adjustment.
The ventilation system is a design (and function) inherited from Teton Bros.' flagship "TB Jacket." Its wide, diagonal opening from the chest to the sides provides excellent ventilation, and it opens wide when leaning forward, such as when hiking, allowing fresh air to easily enter. The cuffs have thin Velcro tabs that allow for a snug, adjustable fit.
The Yari Pants feature a front zipper, waterproof waist pockets, and a side zipper that opens wide from below the knee, a standard feature for spring and summer rain shells.
This season, the material has been upgraded to a tougher material that boasts high waterproof and breathable properties while also exhibiting incredible abrasion resistance that can withstand more than 200,000 tests, strengthening its role as an alpine shell that goes beyond being a rain shell.
Feather Rain Jacket/Feather Rain Pant
The Feather Rain Jacket and Pants are made from the same material (Stretch Cordura Super Durable 3L) as the Yari Jacket and Pants. This shell takes advantage of the strength of the material while focusing on lightweight construction.
The hood is not helmet compatible. It features a single large-capacity chest pocket and zipperless underarm ventilation, and is packed with essential features to ensure it's incredibly lightweight, weighing just 330g (medium size) for a 3-layer shell.
The Feather Rain Pant has a slimmer silhouette than the Yari Pant, but thanks to the three-dimensional cut around the knees, bending and straightening your knees and lifting your legs is stress-free. The zipper, which extends below the knees, opens wide at the bottom, making it easy to put on and take off even in the rain. Both are ideal as emergency shells to keep in your backpack.
Tsurugi Lite Jacket
The Tsurugi Lite Jacket is a shell that is suitable for a variety of activities during the snow-free season (mainly spring and summer) and inherits the functionality and design of the Tsurugi Jacket, which was developed as an ice climbing shell.
Its greatest feature is that it is a pullover. The double zipper ventilation that opens wide from the neck to the sides allows for effective ventilation while eliminating the difficulty of putting on and taking off a pullover.
The lack of a zipper in the center of the jacket makes the garment itself lighter, and the lack of a zipper on the abdomen makes it soft to wear and allows for stress-free movement of the body.
Of course, it has more than enough specs to function as a rain shell, but when it comes to quickly putting it on in a sudden downpour, it can't compete with a full-zip model. Therefore, rather than being limited to rainwear, it is positioned as a flexible shell that can be used in multiple ways.
