For telemark skiers, whose routine involves walking, climbing, and skiing, flexible pants that allow for easy movement are essential for making turns that are almost like walking. In the harsh winter, many skiers make day trips, but as spring approaches, their range of activities expands to the depths of the mountains, and in early summer, they seek out slopes with remaining snow, climbing and skiing repeatedly. With good slopes and terrain, and good snow quality, they often forget to take a break.

The SERAC PANT supports your restless activities. These outer pants offer a streamlined look with minimal unnecessary elements. The first impression upon putting them on is that they're so easy to lift your legs, it almost makes hiking faster. They also offer the essential functionality a skier needs. There's a pocket on the right for an avalanche beacon, and on the left for a map or multi-tool. The large ventilation openings, when worn with the HOBACK KNEE PANT, offer comfortable ventilation even in the coldest winters. The hem width can be adjusted to three positions, making them suitable for everything from hard plastic telemark boots to leather boots and cross-country boots. This season, the fabric has been updated to the latest breathable, waterproof material, "Täsmä," further enhancing durability and lightness.

Aiming for fine weather before the rainy season, I put on my SERAC PANT and a wool FARALLON SHIRT and skied down Tateyama's granular slopes on step-soled skis, and the long season finally came to an end.
