Global Jacket
Global Jacket
A new global standard shell has been released
Our first step into the global market is a jacket and pants made with the 3-layer waterproof and breathable material "Täsmä." The design was created by a Swiss designer who co-developed the AMAUTI backpack. While maintaining our development philosophy of selecting appropriate materials, cutting that faithfully accommodates joint range of motion, and emphasizing ventilation, we've added a touch of Western influences. Our unchanging philosophy is "Functional Beauty." A product's distinctive appearance is always functional. The angled front zipper is inherited from the TSURUGI JACKET. The three-dimensional cut that doesn't impair shoulder range of motion is also shared. The longer length reflects Western trends, and zippers are located on both sides for smooth leg lift when hiking. Like other shells, the overall low profile utilizes extensive laser cutting and ultrasonic welding. This marks the beginning of TETON BROS.'s new challenge.

Maintenance Guide
Use a neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener will reduce the water repellency).
Please close all zippers and Velcro fasteners before washing.
Rinse at least twice
Do not use the spin-dry function of the washing machine as this may damage the fabric or cause damage to the washing machine itself.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean
After washing, immediately reshape the garment and dry it in a well-ventilated, shady place.
If the water-repellent properties have deteriorated, iron the garment using a pressing cloth (low temperature setting).

FEATURES
-
angle zipper
The double-slider zipper, which opens wide from the neck to the side, is inherited from the TSURUGI JACKET, providing maximum ventilation and ease of putting on and taking off. -
Hood Construction
The hood is designed for use with a helmet and can be adjusted vertically and horizontally to fit with or without a helmet. -
Zippered hem
This zipper ensures leg movement when hiking uphill. It is aligned with the side zipper on the GLOBAL PANT, improving ventilation efficiency. -
Laser Ventilation
The upper back is equipped with a permanently open ventilation system made of overlapping fabric. -
Inner pocket
Inside the front zipper is a mesh pocket that is convenient for storing valuables. -
Hem stopper
The drawcord stopper at the hem is located at the center front, rather than on the side, to avoid interference with gear set in the gear loops when wearing a harness.

Tasm
This next-generation waterproof and breathable material was developed in collaboration with Toray. It features an electrospun ESP membrane, which sprays multiple layers of microscopic polyurethane fibers. The multiple layers of microscopic mesh block moisture while allowing physical ventilation. This makes it "breathable" rather than "breathable." Another distinctive feature is its soft feel, which is hard to believe for a waterproof and breathable material. The outer fabric is made of high-strength nylon, combining durability and lightness. Mechanical stretch provides ample flexibility despite being 100% nylon. The lining is made of a moisture-wicking, quick-drying 20-denier knit backer, combining a supple texture with high functionality, resulting in a well-balanced material with high waterproofness and breathability.
If you wash it yourself, please use a neutral detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach. When washing, always wash by hand and gently press the garment. Do not use the hand wash cycle on a washing machine.
After washing, rinse thoroughly to remove any remaining detergent. If detergent remains, the water-repellent properties will be reduced. (Surfactants are substances that bind water and oil, so if detergent remains on the fabric, it will significantly reduce the water-repellent properties of the fabric surface.)
The same applies if the surface fabric is clogged with tiny particles of dirt, and particles remaining in the gaps in the fabric often cause a decrease in water repellency and water to seep in. After rinsing, dry in the shade and iron when half-dry, but do so at a low temperature and take care not to unravel the fabric. Do not use a dryer.
