K7 Insulated Shirt
K7 Insulated Shirt
A padded wool shirt that can also be worn as an outer layer
This padded wool work shirt will keep you warm even in the coldest of weather. It's crafted from recycled wool "Keshi" (keshichi) from Oshu, a global wool-producing region that also developed the base layer "MOB Wool." Oshu has a tradition of recycling wool products long before the term "recycled wool" was coined. While it shares the same functionality as the FARALLON SHIRT, such as pockets and elbow patches, it uses lighter "Keshi" wool and features padded quilting for enhanced warmth. Its relaxed fit allows it to be worn like a shirt jacket. Because wool is flame-retardant, it's also recommended for enjoying a bonfire during midwinter camping.

Keishichi
Wool destined for waste, such as old sweaters, scraps from sewing factories, and cotton waste from spinning mills, is collected from all over the country, and each raw material is hand-sorted in Oshu to create recycled wool. By selecting fibers with a high wool content and carefully adjusting the color, a new dyeing process is unnecessary, making it possible to create recycled wool yarn with a low environmental impact. By blending in a small amount of polyester fiber during this process, a strong, textured yarn is spun. Recycled wool revived using this golden ratio is known in the industry as "70% wool."
As shrinkage may occur after washing, we generally recommend dry cleaning. If washing at home, be sure to wash by hand and press gently. Color may fade, so we recommend washing alone. Avoid using bleach. When drying, do not use a dryer; hang to dry naturally in the shade. If ironing, use a medium temperature setting of up to 150°C.
