Climatic Bib Pants
Climatic Bib Pants
Your go-to pants for critical slopes
These half-bib pants are ideal for backcountry skiing in alpine areas and climbing and riding on steep, snowy mountains. They're slim yet offer ample range of motion, preventing the legs from bunching up, even on steep slopes. The fabric is based on the same 50-denier 66 nylon mechanical stretch "Täsmä" as the TB Pant, with "Täsmä" made of high-strength 70-denier mechanical stretch nylon at the knees and hips. The relaxed, comfortable waist provides excellent ventilation and can be adjusted with Velcro for a custom fit. The side zipper opens wide above the knees without removing the suspenders, making toileting a breeze. The two-stage adjustable hem is the same width as the TB Pant when unzipped. It also features an internal powder gaiter.

Maintenance Guide
Use a neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener will reduce the water repellency).
Please close all zippers and Velcro fasteners before washing.
Rinse at least twice
Do not use the spin-dry function of the washing machine as this may damage the fabric or cause damage to the washing machine itself.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean
After washing, immediately reshape the garment and dry it in a well-ventilated, shady place.
If the water-repellent properties have deteriorated, please iron the garment using a pressing cloth (low temperature setting).

FEATURES
-
Side zipper
The pants open wide above the knees, so you can relieve yourself without removing your suspenders. Snap buttons at the waist keep the fabric from sagging when you squat. -
Waist specifications
The relaxed, wide waistband provides excellent ventilation and can be adjusted with a Velcro strap as needed. -
Thigh ventilation
Ventilation from the waist to above the knees. The Vislon zipper with double sliders opens and closes smoothly, allowing for quick ventilation even while moving. -
Thigh pocket
There is a loop inside the right pocket, the end of which is sewn directly into the pants body and reinforced with darts for maximum strength.

Tasm
This next-generation waterproof and breathable material was developed in collaboration with Toray. It features an electrospun ESP membrane, which sprays multiple layers of microscopic polyurethane fibers. The multiple layers of microscopic mesh block moisture while allowing physical ventilation. This makes it "breathable" rather than "breathable." Another distinctive feature is its soft feel, which is hard to believe for a waterproof and breathable material. The outer fabric is made of high-strength nylon, combining durability and lightness. Mechanical stretch provides ample flexibility despite being 100% nylon. The lining is made of a moisture-wicking, quick-drying 20-denier knit backer, combining a supple texture with high functionality, resulting in a well-balanced material with high waterproofness and breathability.
If you wash it yourself, please use a neutral detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach. When washing, always wash by hand and gently press the garment. Do not use the hand wash cycle on a washing machine.
After washing, rinse thoroughly to remove any remaining detergent. If detergent remains, the water-repellent properties will be reduced. (Surfactants are substances that bind water and oil, so if detergent remains on the fabric, it will significantly reduce the water-repellent properties of the fabric surface.)
The same applies if the surface fabric is clogged with tiny particles of dirt, and particles remaining in the gaps in the fabric often cause a decrease in water repellency and water to seep in. After rinsing, dry in the shade and iron when half-dry, but do so at a low temperature and take care not to unravel the fabric. Do not use a dryer.
