Super water-repellent finish "repels" sweat

This series is ideal for activities that involve high intensity exercise and a lot of sweating, such as pole (skiing), pedal (bicycle), and paddle (kayak). The material is a stretchy fabric with an ultra-water-repellent finish, which repels sweat from the surface of the fabric and keeps you dry. Completely different from conventional base layers that absorb sweat and then diffuse and evaporate it, this series has been well received by core enthusiasts of mountain running and stream climbing. While the ELV1000 series in the MOUNTAIN RUNNING category has a fitting that follows the contours of the body, the PPP series has a looser silhouette.

FEATURES

    The grid-like fabric is highly breathable and breathable. The ultra-water-repellent fabric can retain water, but when pressure is applied, it is expelled through the holes in the grid. Sweat slides off the surface of the fabric, keeping you feeling dry and light.

    The half-zip and long-sleeve versions have offset shoulder seams, while the short-sleeve versions have raglan seams. All have side panels for increased range of motion.

Stretch Polyester with Dry Action

This 100% polyester fabric is the same material used in the ELV1000 and PPP series base layers. It's lightweight, weighing just 95g per meter, and starting this season, 58% of the material is recycled polyester. The waffle knit fabric is lightweight and dry to the touch. In addition to its breathability, quick-drying properties, and stretchability, it's treated with a "Dry Action" ultra-water-repellent finish, making it nearly waterproof and able to repel light rain. The textured weave minimizes contact with the skin, reducing the feeling of the fabric sticking to the skin even when sweating heavily.

You can use regular laundry detergent to wash the product, but avoid using fabric softener as it will reduce the water-repellent properties. If you accidentally use fabric softener, rinse the product in cold or lukewarm water for about 10 minutes. Avoid using bleach as it will reduce the water-repellent properties.
