TB Jacket
TB Jacket
Flagship model specialized for backcountry
This flagship model marks the brand's 18th winter and marks its origins. The concept remains unchanged since its inception: a protective shell that allows stress-free movement in any backcountry situation. Crafted from Täsmä, which combines complete waterproofing with breathability, it features a water-repellent finish with the highest level of oil repellency currently available. The distinctive ventilation openings, which extend from the chest to the sides, are designed for efficient ventilation and ease of use. Combined with the breathability of the material, they reduce stuffiness, keeping the inside of the garment dry and reducing the risk of hypothermia. The three-dimensional cut, designed to accommodate the shoulder joint's wide range of motion (ROM), allows for unrestricted movement. This season, the hood and hem cuffs are aligned with the outer fabric for added durability.

Maintenance Guide
Use a neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener will reduce the water repellency).
Please close all zippers and Velcro fasteners before washing.
Rinse at least twice
Do not use the spin-dry function of the washing machine as this may damage the fabric or cause damage to the washing machine itself.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean
After washing, immediately reshape the garment and dry it in a well-ventilated, shady place.
If the water-repellent properties have deteriorated, iron the garment using a pressing cloth (low temperature setting).

FEATURES
-
Hood Construction
This hood is designed for use with a helmet. Two types of adjusters are located on the front, allowing for easy adjustment in both vertical and horizontal directions. It can also be released with a single action. -
Angle Ventilation
Wide, diagonal ventilation from the chest to the sides allows for effective ventilation while on the move and allows access to the bib pockets without opening the front zipper. -
25-26FW Update
The hem and hood cuffs are aligned with the outer fabric and are bonded instead of sewn, which not only simplifies the look but also improves durability by eliminating surface stitching. -
Cohesive Stopper
The hem and hood can be adjusted with drawcords. The adjustable stopper is fixed, so you simply pull the cord to tighten it and press the button to release it. -
Shoulder joint range of motion
TETON BROS.'s unique cut ensures freedom of movement in the shoulder joints. It doesn't restrict shoulder or arm movement when worn, and the hem won't ride up even when you raise your arms. -
Back structure
The three-dimensional cut is used to pursue ease of movement, and the back cut in particular takes into consideration large movements around the shoulder blades. -
Inner mesh pocket
The wide-opening inner mesh pocket allows you to store wet items and let them dry using your body heat. -
Cuff specifications
The cuff has a wide opening that allows you to put your sleeve through the glove regardless of its volume. The wide adjuster attachment point ensures a consistent fit. -
Outer fabric
The outer fabric is made of 50 denier 66 nylon, which is both durable and stretchy. By weaving two warp threads parallel to each other, it has the strength of 100 denier while maintaining the flexibility of 50 denier. -
"Täsmä" fabric logo (3 layers)
The vertical lines represent breathability, while the horizontal lines represent the multi-layer structure. This logo is used on TETON BROS.'s unique waterproof and breathable material, "Täsmä," which combines high breathability and waterproofness.

Tasm
This next-generation waterproof and breathable material was developed in collaboration with Toray. It features an electrospun ESP membrane, which sprays multiple layers of microscopic polyurethane fibers. The multiple layers of microscopic mesh block moisture while allowing physical ventilation. This makes it "breathable" rather than "breathable." Another distinctive feature is its soft feel, which is hard to believe for a waterproof and breathable material. The outer fabric is made of high-strength nylon, combining durability and lightness. Mechanical stretch provides ample flexibility despite being 100% nylon. The lining is made of a moisture-wicking, quick-drying 20-denier knit backer, combining a supple texture with high functionality, resulting in a well-balanced material with high waterproofness and breathability.
If you wash it yourself, please use a neutral detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach. When washing, always wash by hand and gently press the garment. Do not use the hand wash cycle on a washing machine.
After washing, rinse thoroughly to remove any remaining detergent. If detergent remains, the water-repellent properties will be reduced. (Surfactants are substances that bind water and oil, so if detergent remains on the fabric, it will significantly reduce the water-repellent properties of the fabric surface.)
The same applies if the surface fabric is clogged with tiny particles of dirt, and particles remaining in the gaps in the fabric often cause a decrease in water repellency and water to seep in. After rinsing, dry in the shade and iron when half-dry, but do so at a low temperature and take care not to unravel the fabric. Do not use a dryer.
