Refuge Pant
Refuge Pant
Simple and warm padded liner pants
Like the REFUGE JACKET, these are padded pants, developed in response to requests from North America. While simple in design, like TETON BROS.'s technical shells, the three-dimensional cut at the knee and hip joints ensures ample range of motion, allowing for stress-free leg movements. Like the jacket, the padding is made of Toray's "3DeFX+," which offers warmth and excellent stretch, while the outer fabric is made of two-layer "Täsmä." The waist has an adjustable strap for a fine-tuned fit. There's a large-capacity thigh pocket on the right, a small pocket on the left, and ventilation on both sides.

Maintenance Guide
Use a neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener will reduce the water repellency).
Please close all zippers and Velcro fasteners before washing.
Rinse at least twice
Do not use the spin-dry function of the washing machine as this may damage the fabric or cause damage to the washing machine itself.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean
After washing, immediately reshape the garment and dry it in a well-ventilated, shady place.
If the water-repellent properties have deteriorated, iron the garment using a pressing cloth (low temperature setting).

"Täsmä" 2-layer Fabric logo
Made with a two-layer waterproof and breathable material called "Täsmä." It's flexible and highly breathable, effectively wicking away moisture trapped in the padding. It's only used in the REFUGE series, including the REFUGE JACKET & PANT.

Tasm
This next-generation waterproof and breathable material was developed in collaboration with Toray. It features an electrospun ESP membrane, which sprays multiple layers of microscopic polyurethane fibers. The multiple layers of microscopic mesh block moisture while allowing physical ventilation. This makes it "breathable" rather than "breathable." Another distinctive feature is its soft feel, which is hard to believe for a waterproof and breathable material. The outer fabric is made of high-strength nylon, combining durability and lightness. Mechanical stretch provides ample flexibility despite being 100% nylon. The lining is made of a moisture-wicking, quick-drying 20-denier knit backer, combining a supple texture with high functionality, resulting in a well-balanced material with high waterproofness and breathability.
If you wash it yourself, please use a neutral detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach. When washing, always wash by hand and gently press the garment. Do not use the hand wash cycle on a washing machine.
After washing, rinse thoroughly to remove any remaining detergent. If detergent remains, the water-repellent properties will be reduced. (Surfactants are substances that bind water and oil, so if detergent remains on the fabric, it will significantly reduce the water-repellent properties of the fabric surface.)
The same applies if the surface fabric is clogged with tiny particles of dirt, and particles remaining in the gaps in the fabric often cause a decrease in water repellency and water to seep in. After rinsing, dry in the shade and iron when half-dry, but do so at a low temperature and take care not to unravel the fabric. Do not use a dryer.
