Climatic Jacket
Climatic Jacket
Suitable for all snowy mountain activities
This is TETON BROS.'s slimmest and most versatile outer shell. "Climatic" is a combination of climbing, climate, and automatic. Its versatility and durability make it suitable for all snowy mountain activities, from alpine climbing and ice climbing to climb-and-ride and snow-season mountaineering. It's especially recommended for those with a slim build. Like the TSURUGI JACKET, it's made with two types of "Täsmä" fabric. The main body is made of supple 50-denier stretch nylon "Täsmä," while critical areas like the shoulders and waist, prone to stress, are made of the same high-strength mechanical stretch nylon "Täsmä" as the TB JACKET, for increased strength and durability.

Maintenance Guide
Use a neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener will reduce the water repellency).
Please close all zippers and Velcro fasteners before washing.
Rinse at least twice
Do not use the spin-dry function of the washing machine as this may damage the fabric or cause damage to the washing machine itself.
Do not tumble dry or dry clean
After washing, immediately reshape the garment and dry it in a well-ventilated, shady place.
If the water-repellent properties have deteriorated, iron the garment using a pressing cloth (low temperature setting).

FEATURES
-
Angle Ventilation
The ventilation opening, which extends from the chest to the sides, is inherited from the TB JACKET. It opens easily and provides excellent ventilation as it does not resist the movement of the shoulders and elbows. -
Ensuring range of motion
Minimal cutting provides an ideal fit and range of motion. The shoulders are designed for climbing snowy mountains and rocky ridges, ensuring maximum range of motion. -
Hood Construction
The hood is designed to be worn with a helmet. The cohesive stopper at the back of the head allows for adjustments both vertically around the face and horizontally from the temples with a single action. -
pocket
In response to user requests, a zippered pocket has been added to the upper left arm, convenient for storing IC lift tickets and other items. -
Inner mesh pocket
The wide-opening inner mesh pocket is perfect for storing wet items or hiking gloves, allowing them to dry with body heat while you're on the move. -
Cuff specifications
The cuffs are narrower than those of the TB JACKET, designed for use during alpine climbing. They are not too loose and do not get in the way when using your hands. -
Cohesive Stopper
The hem and hood can be adjusted with drawcords. The flexible stopper is fixed, so you can tighten it by pulling the cord and release it by pressing the button. -
25-26FW Update
The hem and hood cuffs are aligned with the outer fabric and are bonded instead of sewn, simplifying the look and eliminating surface stitching for improved durability. -
"Täsmä" fabric logo (3 layers)
The vertical lines represent breathability, while the horizontal lines represent the multi-layer structure. This logo is used on TETON BROS.'s unique waterproof and breathable material, "Täsmä," which combines high breathability and waterproofness.

Tasm
This next-generation waterproof and breathable material was developed in collaboration with Toray. It features an electrospun ESP membrane, which sprays multiple layers of microscopic polyurethane fibers. The multiple layers of microscopic mesh block moisture while allowing physical ventilation. This makes it "breathable" rather than "breathable." Another distinctive feature is its soft feel, which is hard to believe for a waterproof and breathable material. The outer fabric is made of high-strength nylon, combining durability and lightness. Mechanical stretch provides ample flexibility despite being 100% nylon. The lining is made of a moisture-wicking, quick-drying 20-denier knit backer, combining a supple texture with high functionality, resulting in a well-balanced material with high waterproofness and breathability.
If you wash it yourself, please use a neutral detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach. When washing, always wash by hand and gently press the garment. Do not use the hand wash cycle on a washing machine.
After washing, rinse thoroughly to remove any remaining detergent. If detergent remains, the water-repellent properties will be reduced. (Surfactants are substances that bind water and oil, so if detergent remains on the fabric, it will significantly reduce the water-repellent properties of the fabric surface.)
The same applies if the surface fabric is clogged with tiny particles of dirt, and particles remaining in the gaps in the fabric often cause a decrease in water repellency and water to seep in. After rinsing, dry in the shade and iron when half-dry, but do so at a low temperature and take care not to unravel the fabric. Do not use a dryer.
