This popular series utilizes "Octa Wool High Loft," an ideal blend of "Octa" and wool, resulting in a soft, gentle feel. It features feather yarn that has been fluffed to resemble feathers, knitted in a border pattern. In addition to the lightness, warmth, breathability, and quick-drying properties of "Octa," and the moisture-regulating and odor-resistant properties of wool, it also combines the stretchiness not found in conventional high-loft fleece. This Tech Hoody is designed for field use. The shoulders and chest, which rub against the backpack, are reinforced with nylon fabric. Graphene Grid Fleece is used in the underarms and elbows, which are prone to chafing, for added strength and a snug fit.

  • Shoulder reinforcement

    The area from the shoulders to the chest where it comes into contact with the backpack's shoulder harness is reinforced with nylon fabric.

  • Cuff specifications

    GrapheneGrid Fleece is used in areas prone to chafing, from the elbow to the sleeve. Thumbholes are placed on the cuffs to increase warmth on the back of the hand and prevent the sleeves from riding up when layering.

    This high-loft fleece is made by knitting "Octa" with feather yarn, which is wool that has been fluffed up. The high wool content gives it excellent properties unique to wool, such as moisture control and odor resistance.

Octa Wool High Loft

This hybrid high-loft fleece material is a composite of "Octa" yarn and wool yarn. It is lightweight, extremely soft to the touch, and highly stretchable. "Octa" is a special polyester yarn with eight protrusions. Its hollow structure makes it extremely lightweight, while also providing excellent warmth and moisture-wicking, quick-drying properties. By weft-knitting both "Octa" yarn and wool yarn in a border pattern, we have created a material with excellent stretch, feather-like lightness, outstanding warmth, and excellent breathability. This was realized at the request of TETON BROS., and reduces shedding, a drawback of high-loft fleece.
