Hybrid wool that is easy to use in the mountains in autumn and winter

"Axio 3D" has a double-face construction, with the hybrid wool "Axio" on the outside and the sweat-wicking, quick-drying "COOLMAX" on the inside. It combines the excellent warmth, moisture-regulating, and odor-resistant properties of wool with the sweat-wicking, quick-drying properties of synthetic fibers. The silhouette fits snugly to the body, and the offset neck zipper opens for cooling down. It's easy to put on and take off. It's perfect for mountain climbing in the fall when the weather starts to get cold, or for running in the winter.

  • Zipper at neck

A short, offset zipper makes it easy to put on and take off, and also functions as ventilation.
  • Cuff specifications

Thumbholes are provided on the cuffs to increase warmth on the back of the hands and prevent the sleeves from riding up when layering.
  • Fabric (surface)

The outer layer is made of hybrid wool "Axio," which retains the excellent properties of wool, such as heat retention, moisture control, and odor resistance, while also being a smooth knit that glides easily under other layers.
  • Fabric (skin side)

The double-faced inner layer is made of "COOLMAX," which adds excellent sweat absorption and quick drying to the benefits of "Axio."

Axio 3D

"Axio" is a hybrid wool born in Oshu, a world-renowned wool production center. It is a hybrid material that perfectly balances the properties of wool and synthetic fibers. Developed for TETON BROS. by Oshu engineers, the original "Axio 3D" features enhanced moisture absorption and diffusion. Special processing not only provides moisture absorption, but also excellent diffusion and quick-drying properties. Furthermore, the polyester yarns use irregular cross-section yarns, providing a cooling effect when body temperature rises suddenly. The double-face construction combines "COOLMAX," which provides excellent breathability and moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, with "Axio," which has high diffusion properties, knitted three-dimensionally on the surface. The smoother surface makes it easier to layer, and it also boasts excellent durability and anti-pilling properties. For the spring and summer seasons, the lightweight "Axio Lite" is also available.

Hand wash with mild detergent in water below 30°C. Temperatures higher than 30°C are strictly prohibited. Higher temperatures can cause shrinkage and damage to the fabric. Gently press the entire garment while washing to remove dirt. Avoid rubbing the garment as much as possible. After a quick wash, change the water and rinse. Washing and rinsing should be done quickly. Aim for about 3-5 minutes total. Leaving the garment in water for too long can cause the fibers to stiffen and felt. After washing, gently press the garment with a large towel to remove excess water. Dry flat in a cool, well-ventilated place. Never use a dryer. Merino wool shrinks because the scales on its surface open up when wet. If the fibers are rubbed or subjected to force while open, they become tangled. If the garment dries in this tangled state and the scales close, the entire fabric will shrink and stiffen. This shrinkage is called "felting shrinkage," and it is more likely to occur the warmer the water temperature.
