Dynamic warmth jacket with emphasis on breathability

Among TETON BROS.'s active insulations, this one focuses on breathability. The cut is almost identical to the WAPITI HOODY, but while the WAPITI HOODY emphasizes warmth, this one emphasizes breathability. Recommended for those who want to stay warm in cold conditions while preventing overheating. The hood has been intentionally removed, and the stand-up collar makes it easy to use as a mid-layer. Utilizing "Stretch Octa Bonding" throughout, which offers a good balance of warmth and moisture management, the excellent stretchability ensures a supple feel. From autumn mountain climbing to backcountry skiing in the depths of winter, this jacket promises a comfortable fit that's neither too hot nor too cold.

  • Stretch Octa Bonding

The entire garment is made with "Stretch Octa Bonding." This material, which has "Octa" bonded to a highly stretchable base fabric, offers a good balance of heat retention, breathability, and quick-drying properties. The bonding also integrates the outer and inner fabrics, allowing for excellent mobility.
  • Double Slider

The front zipper has a double slider, making it compatible with climbing harnesses.
  • Hem stopper

The hem is fitted with a drawcord, and the cord stopper is fixed so it can be easily operated with one hand.
  • Cuff specifications

The cuffs are elasticated halfway around the garment. Simple yet provides a comfortable fit.
  • Outer fabric

The outer fabric has been changed to 20 denier stretch nylon, which maintains the same breathability and stretch as before, but is slightly lighter.
  • lining

The material that comes into contact with the skin is the "Octa" knitted in a frame shape. If you wear a shell over it to block the airflow, the dead air inside the frame will be warmed by body heat, increasing the heat retention effect. Starting this season, the color has been changed to the same color as the outer fabric.
  • "Octa" fabric logo

The distinctive curves represent "Octa," a hollow polyester fiber that is lightweight, warm, highly breathable, and quick-drying. The logo symbolizes active insulation that keeps you at a comfortable temperature—neither too cold nor too hot—while you're on the move.

Stretch Octa Bonding

Developed by Teijin, "Octa" is a hollow fiber with eight radial protrusions. Compared to conventional polyester yarns, it is lightweight, easily traps dead air, and provides excellent ventilation. Previously, "Octa" was sewn to a stretch outer fabric, but "StretchOcta Bonding" directly bonds the fabric to the "Octa" fabric. This technology was jointly developed by Teijin, the developer of "Octa," and Teton Bros. Bonding eliminates the gap between the outer fabric and "Octa," allowing sweat absorbed by "Octa" to be quickly transferred to the outer fabric, where it disperses and dries. This allows for ideal dynamic warmth. Furthermore, the outer fabric and "Octa" do not slip, resulting in a better fit. Another major benefit is improved mobility without compromising the stretch of the outer fabric.

If you wash your garment yourself, please use a neutral detergent. Surfactants will significantly reduce the water-repellent properties of the fabric surface. Also, be sure to rinse thoroughly to remove any detergent residue.
