A basic T-shirt that stays dry
This series is ideal for activities that involve high intensity exercise and produce a lot of sweat, such as pole skiing, pedaling, and paddling.
The stretchy fabric is treated with an ultra-water-repellent finish. Unlike traditional base layers, which absorb sweat and then diffuse and evaporate it, this fabric repels sweat from the surface of the fabric, keeping you dry and comfortable. It is also popular among hardcore scrambling and river climbing enthusiasts.
While the ELV1000 series in the MOUNTAIN RUNNING category is fitted to the body, the PPP series has a relaxed silhouette. Try it out as a basic T-shirt to experience the dry comfort that base layers made of sweat-absorbing, quick-drying material don't offer.
The fabric is stretchy, and the relaxed silhouette allows for ample movement.

Stretch Polyester with Dry Action
This 100% polyester fabric is the same material used in the ELV1000 and PPP series base layers. It's lightweight, weighing just 95g per meter, and starting this season, 58% of the material is recycled polyester. The waffle knit fabric is lightweight and dry to the touch. In addition to its breathability, quick-drying properties, and stretchability, it's treated with a "Dry Action" ultra-water-repellent finish, making it nearly waterproof and able to repel light rain. The textured weave minimizes contact with the skin, reducing the feeling of the fabric sticking to the skin even when sweating heavily.
You can use regular laundry detergent to wash the product, but avoid using fabric softener as it will reduce the water-repellent properties. If you accidentally use fabric softener, rinse the product in cold or lukewarm water for about 10 minutes. Avoid using bleach as it will reduce the water-repellent properties.
