This fall/winter base layer is crafted from TETON BROS.'s exclusive "MOB WOOL." It offers a balance of excellent warmth and breathability. The wool and polypropylene knitting technique, combined with a special construction, instantly keeps the skin dry, even when sweating, preventing chills. The deep, fitted hood can be used as a balaclava, and the back of the hood features a ponytail hole for tucked hair. Last season, we revised the knit construction, changing the special grid structure that efficiently retains dead air to a hexagonal shape. This further improves warmth and quick-drying properties. Furthermore, shrinkage, a challenge with natural fibers, has been significantly improved, maintaining a stable figure of approximately 2% in both length and width. The hexagonal structure, developed in pursuit of warmth, quick-drying properties, and comfort, is the result of collaboration with Oshu craftsmen, who have improved the strength and shrinkage resistance of the material while maintaining the traditional MOB Wool functionality.
